Dear valued customers and partners,
We are all acutely aware of the global impacts that the coronavirus epidemic is causing internationally and in NZ.
Voice Power is a critical support service – helping ensure businesses and workers can continue working from home and supplying health sector equipment. These are both criteria considered an essential business at this time.
Voice Power will endeavour to remain open during this time and continue to supply products, software, support and training to essential businesses where possible. We ask for patience during this time as we may take longer than normal to respond to you.
WHO CAN WE SELL / SUPPORT / TRAIN / DELIVER TO?
We will continue to support many in the Healthcare sector (GP’s, Specialist, Mental Health Workers, Radiology Groups / Departments and DHB’s) as required via remote means.
Other essential business (Healthcare Transcription entities, Government Departments, Lawyers etc…) will be assessed on a per request / requirement basis.
DELIVERIES AT THIS TIME
With NZ in lockdown for the next 4+ weeks (March – April) delivery may be delayed. Courier Post is still operating and will deliver during the lock-down period – essential business items only. We will try to ensure timely and prompt delivery of hardware sourced from us while within our power.
- Headsets – With the great demand to work from home, noise cancelling headsets most commonly used with speech recognition are in short supply. We have available a smaller range and will monitor daily what headsets, we can still supply from our website.
- Olympus Hardware – shipments are coming in and we believe we can still source and supply your Olympus products – but there will be delays in shipping.
- Software – All our software is delivered via electronics means and will be available for purchase and download during this period.
Shortages in the global supply chain of components and raw materials have seen cost increase for manufacturers. Freight and logistics costs have also increased due to the necessity to airfreight stock while airspace is a premium. The impact of this on the global markets has seen a decline in the value of the New Zealand dollar. After reviewing these impacts on the our business we have had to adjust our pricing on many imported and locally sourced products effective immediately. All existing quotations up to the 30th March will be honoured.
We will be closely monitoring the situation moving forward and will advise you, should further adjustments and price variations be required.
Grace be with you at this time.
Look after yourself and your family at this time, make a difference by checking-in (digitally) on others, especially the elderly and vulnerable.
My prayer is that we will all remain healthy and well, supporting each other as a community.
Dave Shepherd on behalf of the Voice Power Team.
