Poly (Plantronics) Aquisition completed by HP
As one of our best selling microphone headset ranges, we have been watching with interest for the last 18 months since HP Inc announced a definitive agreement to acquire Poly (Plantronics) in March 2022. The total value of the purchase was around $3.3 billion and it has taken a while to see any changes, but we are now starting to see them.
Poly is now a part of HP
The rise of remote and hybrid work has created huge demand for solutions that make new ways of collaboration and co-creation possible. The combination of Poly and HP will pave the way for new hybrid work experiences of the future. Now one company, they say – stronger together, innovating for customers & partners to support them on their once-in-a-generation quest to redefine the way work gets done.
New products may start to be named as HP devices and slowly the Poly logos and media will be replaced.
It can only mean good things for the sector as HP’s strategy is to create a more growth-oriented portfolio.
